Harvest
time is a time of celebration in the Green Bay area. As the
trees create a colorful backdrop of crimson, orange and brown,
the area comes to life with family fun opportunities.
Children of all ages smile at the call of "all-aboard" as
they board a classic diesel train for a day of family fun on
the Great Pumpkin Train at the National
Railroad Museum, October 13-14. The train takes passengers
to the museum's own pumpkin patch where kids and adults alike
are invited to hunt for their own perfect pumpkin. The festive
mood is heightened by a spectacular lineup of children's entertainers.
Fall
adventurers looking to get lost in the season can head to the "2001-A
Corn Odyssey" corn maze located across from the University
of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus. The giant maze challenges visitors
with nearly six miles of corridors full of twists, turns and
dead ends. The maze is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays
and Sundays. For more information, call (920) 465-2130.
Fall is harvest time at Heritage
Hill State Park. Visitors can get a unique look into

of fall color. Information and tour schedules are available
