Two Rivers Welcomes National Recording Artist
Concert is fifth in a year-long bluegrass series

TWO RIVERS , Wis.
May 3, 2006

Two Rivers , WI – Jimbo Whaley and Greenbrier will bring their brand of traditional bluegrass music to the stage of Two Rivers High School Auditorium this Saturday, May 6th. The concert, beginning at 7:30 p.m., is part of the 2006 Bluegrass Concert Series from B.K. Productions. The concert series has already featured five of the top bluegrass artists in the nation, including Melvin Goins & Windy Mtn., Nothin’ Fancy and Honi Deaton & Dream.

“Jimbo Whaley is a fantastic songwriter and showman who works with a great band you don’t want to miss,” said concert series promoter Brad Klabunde. “They’ll certainly feature music from their new CD, ‘The Kings or Orebank,’ as well as favorites like ‘The Old Radio’ and ‘The Legend of Jack Huff.’”

Advance sale tickets to Saturday’s performance are $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 8-17 and free for children 7 and younger. Tickets purchased at the door are $15 for adults, $8 for children ages 8-17 and free for those 7 and younger.

“There aren’t many communities that have been able to draw such a fine line-up of nationally known bluegrass entertainers,” said Kari Sliva, President and CEO of Packer Country Visitor & Convention Bureau. “Brad Klabunde has been able to put together a tremendous concert series that draws fans from throughout the state and beyond.”
