GREEN BAY, Wis.
April 17, 2006
Green Bay, WI – All too often visitors to the area know more about a tourist attraction than the local residents. Packer Country Visitor & Convention Bureau wants to be sure area residents know about the special attractions in the area.
Sales of Passports for the 3rd annual "Be a Tourist in Your Hometown" program kick off today. The Passports are available for $10 each and give an entire family admission to eight of the area's tourist attractions during the weekend of May 13-14, 2006.
The Passport also contains valuable coupons worth more than $400. The coupons are from a variety of tourist-related businesses and can be used through the end of the year. In addition, special 500 point keywords are also available inside the Passport, as well as on-site during the special event weekend for WIXX Club 101 and Y100 Club Y members. Total Passport value based on a family of four exceeds $500.
