Packer Country Board Adds New Members
Tim Quigley is re-elected as chairman
GREEN BAY, Wis.

Green Bay, WI – The Packer Country Visitor & Convention Bureau board of directors has re-elected Tim Quigley as chairman and added four new members to the board.
“We’re so happy to have Tim serving as our chairman,” said Kari Sliva, president & CEO of Packer Country Visitor & Convention Bureau. “Tim’s experience as director of Bayfest and his other event planning knowledge and community involvement make him a tremendous asset for our organization.” Quigley is president of The Event Company, a festival and event management and consulting firm.
The Packer Country Visitor & Convention Bureau is the official regional tourism organization for the Green Bay area, Oneida Nation, Algoma, Kewaunee, Mishicot and Two Rivers.
“I look forward to another exciting year for Packer Country,” Quigley said. “Tourism is so important to the region with tourists spending more than $600 million annually in the area. We need to be sure that we continue to attract those tourist dollars to the area.”
Also at its annual meeting, the board elected Jeff Mirkes of Downtown Green Bay, Inc. as vice chairman and Adrian Ulatowski of Davis & Kuelthau Law Firm as treasurer. Randy Kliment of Fox Hills Resort was re-elected secretary.
The newly elected board members include State Rep. Judy Krawczyk of Green Bay; Mark Wagner, Green Bay Packers Director of Ticket Operations; Patricia Hoeft of the Oneida Nation; and Paul Vanden Wymelenberg of Quality Inn & Suites. “We’re very fortunate to have such a strong group of community leaders on our board of directors,” Sliva added. “We look forward to working with the board and our partners throughout Packer Country to make 2006 a tremendous year for tourism.”
