right around the corner, the Packer Country Regional Tourism
Office (RTO) is celebrating by offering specials to travelers
and residents alike. Upcoming National Tourism Week (May 8-16)

Packer Country Tourism Summit Luncheon, May 11
Travel industry officials will gather Tuesday, May 11, 11:30
a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the F.K. Bemis Conference Center,
100 Grant St., De Pere, to kick-off the travel season. The
featured guest speaker is Kinza Christensen, a motivation
strategist who will present "Touring with Gener-Vision."
Plus, we'll unveil a new, dynamic Packer Country web site
and preview upcoming exciting promotions. Media is invited
to attend.
“Be A Tourist In Your Hometown,” May 15-16
Local Green Bay area and lakeshore residents can take advantage
of a special “Be A Tourist In Your Hometown” promotion,
presented by the Packer Country Regional Tourism Office in
cooperation with 50 local tourism attractions, hotels, and
retail stores.
The weekend of May 15th and 16th is "Be A Tourist In
Your Hometown" weekend in Packer Country. For just $10,
residents may purchase a “Be A Tourist Passport,”
which gets the entire family into fourteen (14) area attractions
free of charge that weekend (a $400 value). The Passport also
saves families money throughout the year by offering pages
of valuable coupons inside.
