Check Out a B&B… Without Checking In!
GREEN BAY, Wis.
May 6, 2003

Innkeepers of the Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Association (WBBA) will open their doors to the public for touring on Sunday, May 11. This date also kicks off National Tourism Week, May 10-18. Most B&Bs will be open from about 1 – 4 p.m.

Are you curious about B&B lodging? Not sure if it’s “like going to Grandma’s” and waking up to breakfast of ultimate comfort food; or like your prissy Aunt Hester’s, where “don’t touch” is the mantra and knick-knacks reign supreme: or a getaway – whether near or far – with the perfect proportion of privacy and pampering? The opportunity to decide is Sunday, May 11: check out a B&B without checking in!

Wisconsin B&Bs are diverse – from one-room inns to spacious lumber barons’ mansions and from classic Victorians to contemporary homes. B&B locations can suit a variety of moods, offering the excitement of metro nightlife, nearby performing arts, the tranquility of a small town or rural setting, fresh-air activities, or fragrant spring gardens.
